Welcoming Olivia: a new chapter begins
Celebrating new life and the little joys that inspire our work
At Studio Heim, we often talk about creating homes that feel calm, thoughtful, and full of warmth. For me personally, that feeling became even more real this August, when I welcomed my daughter, Olivia, into the world.
Becoming a parent is life-changing in ways that are impossible to capture fully in words. It’s a mixture of overwhelming love, quiet reflection, and discovering joy in the smallest details — the kind of moments that remind me why we care so much about creating spaces that truly support the people who live in them.
Time to reflect
Having Olivia has given me a new perspective on life, on home, and on the spaces we create for ourselves and our families. Every little thing — soft lighting, cosy corners, practical storage, or a calm, uncluttered room — suddenly feels so meaningful. It’s inspired me to think even more deeply about the way we design interiors that support not only beauty, but daily life and wellbeing.

This chapter also reminded me how lucky I am to have such a supportive team at Studio Heim. While I took time to welcome Olivia, the studio carried on with dedication, care, and creativity — ensuring that our clients continued to receive thoughtful, considered designs.

Olivia’s arrival has been a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do. At Studio Heim, our goal has always been to create spaces that feel personal, calm, and supportive — and now, more than ever, that mission is close to my heart.
