Designing or renovating a home raises lots of questions, and we want to make the process as clear, enjoyable, and stress-free as possible. Getting started

  • The best place to begin is by completing the enquiry form. Once we receive your details, we will be in touch to arrange a short discovery call to discuss your home, your goals, and which services would be the best fit.

  • After your enquiry, we’ll arrange a discovery call to learn more about your project. During this call, we’ll discuss your vision, timeline, and the services best suited to your needs. We’ll then provide a tailored proposal outlining the scope of work and design fees, ensuring you feel confident about the next steps.

  • Ideally, as early as possible. Involving a designer during the planning stage allows layouts, lighting, and materials to be considered together, helping your renovation or decorating project run smoothly and cohesively.

  • Not at all. Many clients come to Studio Heim because they feel unsure about how their home should look or function. Our role is to guide the process and help translate ideas into a cohesive design.

  • Yes, although the earlier we are involved, the more value we can add. Working together from the planning stage allows layouts, lighting, and materials to be considered as part of one cohesive design. If your project is already in progress, we can discuss how best to support you.

  • We recommend getting in touch several months before your renovation or decorating plans begin, as our design schedule can book up in advance. Early involvement also allows more time to develop a thoughtful and well-resolved design.

Services & design process

  • We specialise in residential interiors, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, and full-home renovations. We work on both single rooms and multi-room projects, and occasionally take on select commercial projects as well.

  • Yes. Our virtual design service allows us to work with clients anywhere in the UK. You’ll receive layouts, design concepts, sourcing lists, and guidance so you can implement the design confidently in your own time.

  • Projects are typically priced on a room-by-room basis, depending on time, complexity, and scope of work. After the discovery call, we provide a clear proposal outlining the design fees. You can also download our pricing guide, which gives an indication of starting prices for different services.

  • The timeline depends on the size and scope of your project. Smaller rooms may take a few weeks, while full-home renovations take longer. We provide an estimated schedule at the start so you know what to expect.

  • Yes. Studio Heim includes two rounds of revisions to ensure the final design feels right for your home and lifestyle.

  • That’s entirely up to you. Some clients enjoy being closely involved in the process, while others prefer us to take the lead. Our aim is to guide the design while ensuring the final result reflects your lifestyle and home.

  • Yes. We regularly design bespoke joinery, including wardrobes, media units, and storage solutions. Detailed drawings are provided for your chosen carpenter or joiner.

  • Yes. Studio Heim offers Product Procurement, where we manage the sourcing and purchasing of items included in the design. This allows clients to benefit from our trade relationships and ensures the correct products are ordered for the project.

Behind the scenes

  • Yes. Studio Heim works with a range of trusted suppliers, including brands often unavailable to the public. This allows us to source unique, high-quality pieces that suit your home and design perfectly.

  • Yes. Discounts typically range from 5%–30% depending on the supplier. Purchasing through Studio Heim gives clients access to these discounts as well as support with any issues or returns.

  • This service allows Studio Heim to manage the sourcing and purchasing of items included in your design. We place orders, coordinate deliveries, and assist with supplier queries, helping the process feel effortless for you.

  • Depending on the project, Studio Heim can provide project management support, including coordinating trades, reviewing plans, and helping resolve issues. Please note, this service is not applicable for virtual clients.

  • Yes. We often collaborate with contractors, architects, and trades to ensure the design is implemented accurately and efficiently.

Working with us

  • Not at all. Clients are free to purchase items themselves, but they won’t benefit from the trade discounts and support we can provide when purchasing through Studio Heim. Many clients choose our Product Procurement service for convenience, access to discounts, and peace of mind that everything arrives as intended.

  • Our services are best suited to clients who want a considered investment in their home. That said, we work with clients across a range of budgets and can advise on what a reasonable budget would be for your project, drawing on our experience to help you make informed decisions while achieving a thoughtful, functional, and beautiful result.

  • Studio Heim focuses on calm, thoughtful interiors that feel timeless and deeply personal. Every project is approached with care and attention to detail, ensuring spaces are not only beautiful but also practical for everyday life.

  • Many clients tell us that the process felt far more enjoyable and straightforward than expected. Having a clear plan and support with sourcing removes much of the stress often associated with home renovations or decorating projects.
