Planning approved

A considered next step for your home project, just after planning permission has been granted.

If you’ve recently received planning permission, you are at a key point in your project where early design decisions can have the greatest impact.

This is the stage where your home starts moving from plans on paper into a real, lived-in space, and where clarity around layout, flow and interior direction can make the entire process more considered and efficient.

Clarity before construction begins

At this stage, design decisions begin to shape everything that follows on site. Our role is to help ensure those decisions feel intentional, connected, and aligned with how you want your home to function day to day.

  • At Studio Heim, we work alongside homeowners at this early stage to bring clarity, cohesion, and design direction to their project.

    This typically includes:

    • Space planning and layout refinement

    • Kitchen, bathroom and joinery design

    • Interior direction and material selection

    • Lighting and electrical planning guidance

    • Coordination with your architect or builder where required

The aim is to ensure your interior decisions feel considered as one connected whole, aligned with both the architecture and the way you want to live in the space.

  • If you book an initial consultation, you will gain a clearer understanding of your project and how it could be developed.

    This typically includes:

    • How your current plans could be refined

    • Where opportunities exist within your space

    • How Studio Heim would approach your project

    • What the next steps would look like if you choose to proceed

There is no obligation to move forward. The purpose of this stage is simply to give you clarity and direction so you can make informed decisions with confidence.

  • We typically find that the most successful and cohesive projects are those where we are involved before construction begins, when decisions are still flexible and the full picture can be considered together.

At this point, interior and architectural decisions can still be aligned, allowing for a more intentional and integrated outcome once the build is underway.
