Designing a bedroom below ground comes with its own challenges.

Natural light is softer, more limited, and it can be tempting to try to compensate for that. Instead, we chose to work with it.

We did not shy away from colour. The green bed brings a

Not every space needs to feel quiet.

Sometimes it is the smaller rooms that can hold a bit more character. A hallway you pass through, or a WC you only use for a few minutes. These are the places where wallpaper can really come

Friday favourites.

Somehow we are already nearing May, and the year feels like it is moving quietly but quickly in the background.

This week, we have been drawn to pieces that help slow things down a little. Materials that feel calm to the touch. S

Throwback to Copenhagen, 2023.

A quiet corner that has stayed with us. An armchair, a simple side table, a sculptural vase. Layers of fabric that soften the light, with a rug grounding everything underfoot.

There is a calmness to spaces like this.

Neutral does not have to feel flat.

This palette is built on small shifts in tone, texture and material. Layers that sit closely together, but still create depth and interest.

When everything is considered, even the quietest schemes can feel rich
